So, this seventh step in the Tour de France brings me to say a word about the little black dress. Yes, the inevitable dress is once again demonstrating how it really is perfect for all occasions.

Since yesterday (July 4th), Paris is living at the pace of its Autumn-Winter 2011-2012 shows, following Christian Dior, Giorgio Armani Privé, Givenchy, Chanel, Valentino, Jean Paul Gaultier down the catwalks… and I’ve picked out a few little black dresses.

So we’ve just seen the origins of the little black dress, as well as some of its iconic representatives… but all of that goes back quite a while ! So here is my selection of black dress fashionistas; actresses, models, politicians… The LBD as we see it today ( as we’ve covered quite a few this year I’ve gone back a bit ! )
