Gotha and My little black dress

November 16, 2010 by MLBD

Gotha is synonymous with comfort: here silks and knits are brought together with immense flair.

The fabrics are moulded and shaped into pleats or bias cuts that play a sophisticated game of contrasts.
For day wear or an evening gown, Gotha will deliver what you’re looking for.

What’s more, the collections evolve and don’t look at all alike.

Origin and history of Gotha dresses

Gotha was founded in 2004 in Campogalliano, Italy’s ready-to-wear land. As its name suggests, Gotha means “the best” – the best small black dresses…

The company applies this attitude both to the creation of its collections, using the best Italian textiles and the latest weaving technologies, as well as in its relations with international customers.

The Gotha design team is very eclectic, with a taste for innovation, who pays attention to details and focuses on unusual shapes, weaving and finishing. This creative process is in echo to Vidieffe’s entrepreneurial guidance.

The specialized staff follows and checks each step of the creation, weaving and finishing, including pressing, so every stage of production is closely monitored.

Thus the Made in Italy concept took shape in this knitted dress designer, where each creation becomes versatile and up to date.

Style choice is clear and experimentation is still de rigeur at Gotha. There nothing is accepted that has already been done before, either in volume or proportions, or in the colour range.

All these assets are already being exploited in Italy, and also in Hong Kong and on the European, Russian and Japanese markets.
