My Little Black Dress offers black dress designs by Alexis Mabille. This great designer has worked with some of the biggest names in fashion design such as Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and Lancôme. He creates black dresses that are both refined and modern.
Biography: Alexis Mabille
Alexis Mabille is 31 years old this year (2010). His first collections date back to 2005:

He spent about 10 years at Dior, alongside John Galliano, creating lines of jewellery and haute couture dresses. He inspired the men’s jewellery collection by Heidi Slimane.
Originally from Lyon, he discovered fashion very early. He would go through the family attic, finding lace petticoats to cut up and remake.
His passion for clothes was confirmed during his adolescence where he takes his first steps as designer, creating party dresses and then costumes for theatre for all those around him.
Alexis Mabille studied fashion in Paris and obtained his diploma at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne in 1997.
He did his training at Emmanuel Ungaro, then at Nina Ricci before joining the Dior house.
Having gained solid experience with major fashion houses, he went on to work with Yves St Laurent and Lancôme.
