Finally, the very last film of the Harry Potter series will hit the big screen tomorrow Wednesday 13rd 2011. For the world’s premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, held in London last Thursday, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe turned on the waterworks of many fans at Trafalgar Square. But what about the Black Dress ?

Where was Emma’s black dress?

Well, Emma was not wearing any ! What a pity though in my opinion considering that for the premiere of the Part 1 of the film last November she was wearing a short black lace dress that suited her perfectly, stressing her pretty porcelain doll skin. This dress, nevertheless great design by the talented Oscar de la Renta, in spite of the tiered skirt, failed to impress me. As for the red carpet gown she wore for the New York premiere on Friday, I’m quite disappointed; it appears to me that the skirt of this dress consists of a golden curtain poorly attached to a dull corset. Well, at least it had the advantage of underlining her feminine waist.

This has little importance if you’re here for Hermione Granger, and if you’re too impatient to wait for tomorrow (in France that is) at the risk of spending the night staring at your ceiling as though you’d dined on energy drink (who can blame you, you’ve been expecting the end for ten years since the first film came out !), you should know that 320 cinemas across France will be exceptionnally showing at midnight this second part and final film tonight, Tuesday 12th July (with a record of special sessions at midnight). On second thought, if you’re that impatient, no doubt you’re part of the tens of thousands of fans who have already  booked their tickets. A few seats remain available, but good luck showing up 10 minutes before: we can assure you that the theatres will be announcing sold out hours prior to showing.
