Kate Middleton’s dress… sold !

Acquiring Kate Middleton’s famous dress was amde possible, if you had the means to purchase the former of course….

Kate Middleton’s LBD sold for 125 853 $

A black lace dress that Kate wore in 2002, was auctioned in London.

The story claims that this sexy little piece of clothing, entirely transparent may we add, is to have caused the prince’s “penchant” for his future wife during a charity fashion show, held at the two young people’s university, that of St Andrews, in Scotland. At teh time, the prince had bought a seat in the front row for 300$.

Designed by the then student in fashion (at the University of West England) Charlotte Todd, this dress of lace canged the destiny of Kate of Prince William and indeed that of the United Kingdom’s royal history, still deeply affected by the loss of a much beloved Princess Di and in search of a new symbolic princess. The dress was only expected to fetch $11,00 to $14,000 at auction last Thursday, but ended up selling for £78,000, or $125,853.

The designer must be up on cloud n°9 ! William and Kate will be wed on April 29th later this year at Westminster Abbey in London.

Who needs Moss when we have such a princess?
