Presided by the incredible actor Robert De Niro, this Cannes Festival will be hosted by Mélanie Laurent. Little summary of the frnehc actress’s carreer, and a look at her ideal LBD style. Born on February 21st 1983, Mélanie was only initiated to the world of cinema at a later age, in high school, despite being the daughter of Pierre Laurent, famous comedien best known for his voice dubs, and a danse teacher mother. Actor Gérard Depardieu was the one to notice the young girl’s talent the day she accompagnied a friend on the set of Astérix et Obélix contre César (1998). this same year the small part of Lisbeth in the film Un pont entre deux rives by Frédéric Auburtin co-directed by Gérard Depardieu. It is thanks to the film Embrassez qui vous voudrez by Michel Blanc that  Mélanie begins to be acknowledged in the acting profession. The Tarentino film Inglourious Basterds (2009) in which she plays the rôle of Shosanna Dreyfus, besides Brad Pitt and Diane Kruger, will extend her success over-seas. Her filmography gave her many occasions to dress up and we conclude that, once again, the little black dress outshines all the other outfits.
