As a part 2 to the previous article on John Galliano, let’s take a look at the question that’s got the fashion realm begging for an answer since the arrival of the vacancy as artistic director for Dior : who will be next ? Who will embody the Dior essence while providing their own completing touch, with majestic and emotionally rich black dresses ?

What a waste ! Creator of genius, Galliano John Galliano, known for his ability to create phenomenons and be a sensation, appeared before the court yesterday, Wednesday 22nd of June 2011 at the Tribunal de grande instance of Paris… I wish to come back on some of the most beautiful black dresses to have seen the Fashion Week shows, in the hope that the fashion scene will never again bare witness to a story that brought shame upon the entire industry.

The MMV (Marché de la Mode Vintage), held every year in Lyon, celebrated last weekend its 10 years of existence and remains the event that federates the largest number of visitors and exhibitors within the different events pertaining to vintage fashion in France. Each year the selection of exhibitors gains in quality and in number, and over 25 000 visitors, with a particular accent made on professionnals come from abroad, especially those from European cities where vintage is strongly present such as Edinburgh, London, Brussels and Vienna. And so I set out myself, in search of a few LBDs… vintage of course.
