Over a week ago we were informed of the sudden death of singer Amy Winehouse, found dead in her London flat on the 23rd of July 2011. Amy had a very personal sense of style, which counted many black dresses.

What a waste ! Creator of genius, Galliano John Galliano, known for his ability to create phenomenons and be a sensation, appeared before the court yesterday, Wednesday 22nd of June 2011 at the Tribunal de grande instance of Paris… I wish to come back on some of the most beautiful black dresses to have seen the Fashion Week shows, in the hope that the fashion scene will never again bare witness to a story that brought shame upon the entire industry.

The sunshine is out, beautiful days ahead of us, and Hollywood stars (and more) are pregnant up to their noses. Indeed, it’s quite a baby boom Spring we’re witnessing among the celeb circle… but also a black boom! The mums-to-be have all found a favourite LBD, understanding perfectly well that, when nothing in the closet can work for your changing body, the little black dress is a timeless flawless option. Flat tum or big bump, we all love our black dress. 

The royal couple Charlène Wittstock and Prince Albert II of Monaco we’ve been hearing so much about (now that Catherine and William have done their bit) will be exchanging vows in less than a month (curious peeps can check out the details on the official website >>>here<<<). Once again, we brace ourselves in view of celebrating cinema, in this month of May 2011, to live a new edition of the Cannes Festival.  With, let’s admit, affection, a litle greed and much impatience. But not only for the films… an array of wonderful LBDs will delight our eyes.
